ACDS is a Hong Kong-based studio and design gallery noted for its one-of-a-kind aesthetic and distinct design curation. Established in 2019 by Adrian Choi, the studio was born out of the ambition to create and source unique and collectible design pieces from Asia.

Throughout Choi’s extensive travels, he has brought together a unique combination of highly skilled resources to challenge the most complex demands of any creation. The aim is to further share the artisanal philosophy and “savoir-faire” ingrained from his formative years in Paris and London.

Blending design with sculpture and art, ACDS aims to recontextualise historic and cultural legacies into the contemporary lifestyle. From the old imperial kiln sites in Jingdezhen to the turquoise mines in Hubei, ACDS pieces are crafted with the highest standards of quality from sustainably sourced and rare materials.

In combination with its exhibitions, the studio strives to cultivate an intuitive and meaningful dialogue with its audience. Employing a visual style that incorporates ethnic and ancestral qualities into its work, they are also backed by an avant-garde and modern expression that is fluent in both Eastern and Western aesthetics. The studio proudly emphasises its mastery of craftmanship through historical and cultural heritages, whilst ensuring a tailor-made approach is taken for every piece it creates.
